How to choose carbon wheels depth?

Now,more and more depth size arrived,20mm/24mm/30mm/35mm/38mm/40mm/45mm/50mm/55mm/58mm/60mm/80mm/88mm depth carbon wheels,how do I choose rim depth,sometimes it's a very hard to decide.
